Look at the national championship results from last year out there. Lots of info on the bassmaster website.

I would suggest you touch base with mod Bob Porko Smith. He lives over there now, moved from this neck of the woods a few years ago. I moved here from N.Georgia last year but I have never fished Chatuge.
