Last time out I tore up the prop and broke off transducer do to low water conditions. So I put the boat away for almost a year. I cant stand it anymore so tomorrow im going. Silly me thought that maybe water levels would get better by now. Cant wait any longer. Headed to my home town lake I haven't fished in twenty years. If im lucky maybe I can boat a few. Yall have a great Easter.

Well I did manage a few crappie and a bass. Home lake is Weatherford lake. They sure put in a very nice ramp and the guy working was very nice. Nice to be fishing where I fished as a kid. The crappie I caught were in about a foot and a half to two foot of water. I didn't notice what the water temp was. I was casting jigs up shallow and slow rolling them back. The crappie would hammer it.
Its funny how the town itself has changed so much yet going out to the lake is like stepping back in time...pretty much the same as when I was a kid. Good relaxing trip. Oh and fish were returned to finish their business.
