Alright I've been looking at several boats and thought the ranger reata was going to be the ticket however I looked at the blue wave 2200 pure bay and 2400 pure bay and have to say they are well designed or so it appears. Anyone have any problems or bad things to say about these blue waves? Dry ride smooth ride? Any problems with standard features? Thanks for any input available

Decent boats, depends what your needs are. They're a decent mix of pleasure and fishing but too much going on to me to be a hardcore fisher.

On the coast they are known as the wet wave if you get the tunnel hull. If you get a full planing hull then I'm sure it's a dry ride

I have never been a fan of them. I looked at a high end one a while back at a boat show and it did not look built well at all.

Can't say anything good or bad about them. However, I went with Nautic Star 214 XTS. It maybe worth your time to take a look at them. The 214 XTS was laid out exactly the way I wanted a boat.
