So I plan on hittin the water both days this weekend and got to thinking about giving swimbaits a try. I've only thrown them a few times and even though it has been successful for me, I'd like some other opinions. I've been catching fish on traps and squarebills the last few weeks but I'm interested in trying swimbaits. Seems logical that it would work but I don't know. I have anything from 4inch to 8inch hollow bodied swimbaits. Curious to know what kind of swimbait rigging and colors you find successful this time of year, if at all. Both lakes I will be fishing are pretty stained and muddy. Thanks in advance for any advice

I just rigged up a rod with a 3" Swimbait(Rigged w/a Owner Flashy Swimmer 3/0 Hook-Grass Pig-Gizzard Shad) anticipating the Shad Spawn here on Conroe.
