popcorn All those knots work well, really depends on your personal preference. Pick the one that works best for you and stick with it. Since I learned the Palomar it's all I've used cause it's fast to tie and very strong, but hey, that's just me!!

I use a loop knot when I'm fishing braided line. The rest of the time I use a Palomar. With a Palomar, every time your jig gets pulled on, you need to take a moment to slide the knot to the back of the hook eye again to get the jig balanced right. It's a pain, but I like the strength of the Palomar.

Sure didn't know Todd Huckabee invented the loop knot but, it's the only knot I use except for dock shooting. Docks, I use a palomar.

Palomar???? I can't get the double line in the hole to be able to tie the palomar!!!!!!

Guess I need a new set of eyeballs.

I tie the Loop and the improved Trilene knots.

Here is the site I use for knots. It's animated, which makes it easier to understand how to tie the knot.

I like the Snare Loop Knot for tying jigs on, either one or two jigs, palomer for tying a swivel on for leader on braid, then use some knot my dad taught me to tie the swivel on the mono end. The Snare Loop knot can also be used to lasso some of the fish that wont bite the jig.
