I decided to go ahead and put out at Joe Pool this morning and just take my time. First time out and could not find anyone to go out with me. Wish me luck. Gonna hug the bank and go slow to get use to it!! Pictures to come. If anyone wants to join, I think Im gonna put in by Britton!!

Take is slow and easy. And wear a good PFD. I would also tell someone close where you are, when you are leaving, and when you will be back.

I plan on fishing there Saturday morning. Putting in at the State Park and paddling across to some coves on the peninsula. I'll let you know how it works out.

Caught 7 bass total and one sand bass while flipping some timber. Caught some on a crank bait but most drop shotting off the point in 6-10 foot of water. Couldn't really figure out the pattern on the bigger ones.
