I'll be there next month to visit friends. Taking my 16'/40hp crappie boat to fish during the day while they are at work. I've never been there. Any information about the lake, fishing, tackle/lures would sure help.

Thanks,

George

Haven't been able to make it there yet so this isn't a voice of experience. This summer for sure.
Been told going thru one of the locks is a must-do.

Fishing, a man knows a serenity of soul and peace of mind that he finds in doing nothing else, and it makes no difference whether or not he catches anything. The mind of a true fisherman is not on petty subjects.
