I'm thinking about getting one of these rods and wondering if anybody here has fished one. It's made by Castaway and I liked the feel of it at the tackle show in Mesquite a while back. I'm wanting to use it for football jigs or c rig.... Thanks for any opinions

Glad you liked the rod, It was me you probably talked to at Mesquite, in the Bumper Stumper booth. I am certain you will be more than pleased with the rod. Those applications is exactly what I use mine for and you can add the hollow body frog to that list. The GHB is perfect! I wish you or I was closer you could take out one of mine for a trip just to check it out. but I feel certain you'll love it anyway.
