I have 3 couples that will be going to Alan Henry in a few weeks for an extended weekend, where would you recommend we stay that is clean and preferrably close to the lake?

Fish N D's 806-629-4026. He has a few small cabins and it is the closest to the store, ramp, etc.

Lake Alan Henry Lodges. It is only a mile or so from the entrance to the lake. I've never personally stayed there because I live in Lubbock, but there are boats there every weekend during the warmer months and I've heard it's pretty nice. Plus thats about your only option within 20 miles of the lake. http://www.lakealanhenry.com/lakealanhenrylodges.htm

It's the budget for me. $59, clean, and mike is the nicest foreign owner I've ever stayed with. Holly's drive in across the street and George's Restaraunt behind.

Best Western in Post would be the best for single rooms. Snyder has some motels but the oil boom will have them booked and might be the same in Post so book ahead.
