6,000 CFS x .1781 = 1,069.8 barrels per second x 60 =64,188 barrels per minute x 60 =3,851,280 barrels per hour. That is a oilfield bbl ( 42 gal ) My calculator want go high enough for 24 hours but like stated it's a big lake but that's a #ss load of water.

Fished there last Friday and Saturday. Water was gorgeous in the deeper main lake areas but slightly silted in others. Wind was blowing harder than I like and overcast. Fishing was not kicking, that's for sure. My Wife had our best luck with a really small H2O crank bait. 99% of all of the fish we caught were in less than 10 feet of water. Highest water temperature I saw was 75 on Friday but never saw that again. The lack of fish catching on big boulders or rock shore lines, especially with wind, was disappointing. No lipless crank bait (my favorite) action at all. No deep (20+) action either. We got up Sunday morning and it started misting, which got progressively worse. Packed up our stuff and head home. On the way, we cut up to Lake Bastrop where we got reacquainted with some hard striking LMB.
Be safe, Rayzor ![[Linked Image]](http://i418.photobucket.com/albums/pp267/JLedbetter/th_Boatpics036.jpg) 2001 Triton Tx-21/225 Mercury EFI

Here is another thought.. 6000 CFS === there are 7 gallons in a cubic ft. so that's 7 gal. per second times 6000 = 42,000 gallons per second, times 60 seconds = 2,520,000 gallons per minute. The average fire truck will pump 1250 gallons per minute.......SO if I figured correctly It would take 2016 fire trucks to pump the amount of water they are releasing every minute.
