I have a 87 ranger 373v. I believe the transom needs repaired. I have been researching the sea cast repair but the back of mine is angles in on the sides toward the front of the boat and flat where the motor hangs. Do I need to clean out from side to side or just the flat part where motor hangs?

Both, and most likely the knee braces and stringers are rotted too...
