 Anybody know how to catch grass carp?

I fish a lake that has some huge grass carp. So far as I can tell they haven't done a
great job of controlling the weeds but they must be eating good because they're BIG.
Never have caught one-I fish the lake for bass and have for years so I know they're
not interested in bass type lures. Is there a bait or lure that might interest these guys?

sweet corn and/or bread on the top

Cream of wheat..with lots of sugar and vanilla..
cook till firm..
scrap in pan
slice in squares or roll into balls.

X2 on canned corn, i use small hooks and i cram on 4-5 kernels, idk which brand are best so i switch around often, most brands sell a can for 60 cents or so at my walmart. i like to use 2 for 3-4 hour trips and 3 for 5-6 hour trips. i tend to chum as i fish, about a tennis ball size( or a hand full of corn, about 1/3 of a can gets used as chum every 45 minutes) use small sinkers and a low drag, do not let up on the drag 100 percent u need a little bit to get an initial hook set

Chum them in with bread for a few days, then put some on a hook and hold on.

Telling people to blindly bowfish grass carp will get you in a lot of trouble as they were put there for a reason and if caught MUST be released immediately. Conversely, if they were not stocked, then they must be killed immediately.
PB Common Carp....... 38 lbs
PB Mirror Carp........12 lbs 8 oz
PB SM Buffalo........ 53 lbs
PB Grasser........... 48 lbs 4 oz
PB Blue cat.......... 17 lbs (caught on maize)

I used Extra Thin sandwich bread. Roll & press them in 1/4 size dough balls.
