Dipson, Well done!!! I regret I didn't go to Bike park this morning because of raining. I went there Saturday morning but didn't do good.
BTW, what kind of baits you use in muddy water?

First few years I avoided hell hole with a passion. Last 2 I had a blast down there! Met lots of new people I still fish with today. People who weren't use to Mason got to know him. AND I FINALLY DITCHED THE 4 OR 6 POUND LINE FOR SOME 15 POUND BRAID. I've got 99 problems and my line ain't one. Lol. Casts as far with not much weight, doesn't tangle as much or break off. Saves my hooks and works great. Love it. After loosing a few hybrids I'm ready for them more than ever. The point is when you learn to cast over and under every one with out tangling up and then get to Laugh your a off when they try to bite youre line off when they do cross you and end up cutting there own because it's braid. You really miss days like that on years like this! I love fishing alone but nothing beats fighting for hybrids in a group around hell hole. When your not catching the guy next to you is. Lots of memmorys...and good people.
Look up " Aquaponics! The self sustained revolution." on Face Book and like the page to learn how to use fish to grow anything at 4 times the rate with 90% less water than normal agriculture while eliminating all chemicals and producing fertilizer for in ground plants.

it always helps if you introduce yourself to others when you are out on the creeks, ask if they are TFF members, get to know them. If you are pleasant & courteous to fish with then most of us are more than willing to help.

I hunted sandies Friday and Saturday all up and down the creek. Caught one. Ended up hooking bigtime into the channel cats at the mouth / Rowlett road bridge Saturday and Sunday night.

Hey, calamusink, I NEED to get into a mess of cats soon. I have a new Abu 6500c3 that needs to get used. Where are you parking to walk out on the bridge there?

First time out there this year and caught 10 and`3 cats all on roadrunners. Only managed a cpl at each spot but seemed most were hugging the banks today. Hard to fish being so low and muddy but think next time ill take the waders since a lot of places in the creek you can see the bottom. All fish came from bike park to the pipe after the pipe that dumps the water in the water was very muddy but not too bad before the pipe.
