Ouch! However, I think that is a Bull Terrier (Like Spuds McKenzie) and not a Pit Bull.

I'd agrre, not that it really matters, but I own a Pit Bull and that's definetely a Bull Terrier. Bully breeds are tough, and very resilient to pain.

That looks awful...to repeat the obvious, poor guy. I wonder what happened to the porcupine too.

Funny, I saw those pics at snopes.com last night, they had not established whether they were real or not.

I'd say they look pretty convincing, sad thing is even if the pup is OK, he'll be extremely lucky not to wind up blind.

Would be interesting to get the rest of the story.

Wow, just like a Pit to not know when to quit. Porcupine quills are like walking super cactus. I hope the dog is ok, I sure do miss my pits.

I wondered about the poor pup's eyes as well, BigLeslie. I hope y'all do find follow-up information about him.

That is quite possibly the most awful thing I have seen. It even beats the brown recluse bite on the hand.

I must go hug my dog now.

i don't care how 'tough' a dog is, that's just plain horrible... scared

ditto what towerofsong said...
i have to go give my dogs a bunch of treats & some hugs...
