Gonna take my grandad catfishing and just wondering what good cutbait. I also bow fish carp buffalo and gar. Are any of these good for cut bait

We use carp, the meat seems to have more blood in it. But, like said, straight to the ice. This helps keep the meat fresh and locks in the blood in the meat.

Blues and Flats are both prespawn,good size live bait gets their attention
10"shad cut in half and 3X4" carp/buff slabs also produce above average fish this time of year
They load up on the chow this time a year so its good to offer decent size to increase potential.
Fish smaller offerings to get some eaters though

Yeah any fish will work. Just keep them fresh.
