My neighbors were having a garage sale today. Short conversation and $50.00 later....

Nice little starter trailer, especially for $50! Extend the tongue a little and sap on slightly taller tires and you'll be rocking.

Think I might hang on to it for a bit. lol

Yak Fin,
We are selling our house in a month or so, and should have quite a bit of equity. If that is the case, I will be (hopefully) adding a Pro Angler. I love my NC F12, but.....Lets just say Cadillacs are really nice, but there is something about a Ferrari.

I was already thinking I needed taller tires. The NC hangs off the back..I'm worried that the tail might drag when I go up a steep hill.

Since you don't have a hitch that would let you use a drop down ball, I would put on larger tires to help with the rake of the trailer. Adding a longer tongue would also help with the rake and make it easier to back up, too.

I'm not a metal guy, so I would have no idea how to add a longer tongue to it. I'm also thinking that the new wheels will cost more than the trailer did. lol

LOL, yeah you're probably looking at $60 bucks for each tire/wheel combo. Larger tires also help keep the revolutions down at highway speeds and give you better ground clearance. That's why I when I redid my trailer I added as large a tire/wheel combo as I could. I also went with galvanized rims (for all my trips to the coast) and radial tires (better if you're driving a lot of highway miles like myself). That's a much more expensive route, however.

Spend 200 and get a proper hitch installed with a drop on it and youll be fine. Towing at that angle is askin for trouble.

You can buy a hitch. We can put it on no problem. Beer is a good motivator. Hahaha. You wont need bigger tires. Just need to get the correct ball. They have ones that drop the correct amount. They also make adjustable ones.
