What is the best all around color and size. Never owned a megabass , going to bite the bullet and try one.

For our Texas lakes and this time of year, I'd go with either the perch or the gill. Match the hatch for your area. Megabass has colors for every region.

MB is developing colors particular to Texas/LA and as they are available I will post links. Its tough to beat kohoju reaction and elegy bone though. French pearl is great too as is HT Kossuri Shad.

I finally bit the biggen and bought some this year, but didn't have good results as in years past. It just wasn't a good jerkbait year for me. One reason is because I didn't go enough when JB shoulda been working the best. They will store well, and be ready for next fall.
Western Clown is the color, though......

Unfortunately, the megabass ITO Vision will be all I buy from now on. They sit better in the water, true to suspending with right line size, and you can throw them a country mile. The price is ridiculous, though.

Sounds like everybody likes different colors. I bought 6 or 8 two years ago & love them.
Muddy water or heavy stain Kinkuro is the best. In Clear water Pro Blue II is best for me. Sexy shad (it's opaque) is good for off color like we usually see here in Texas, also on schooling bass.
I changed the hooks to Mustad Triple Grips #6's but that's just me. I've caught a few 7 to 8lb bass on them, they are a big bass bait.

Sunny skies I like Megabass Sexy Shad. Cloudy/low light I like Elegy Bone. Also like Pro Blue II. It is Pro Blue with orange belly. January and February I really like French Pearl orange belly and Sexy French Pearl. They are expensive baits and very addicting.
