so your telling if I take my 2 polls and a 12pk of beer and catch a limit every day that's ok but not ok if I spider rig? spider rigging gets me off the lake faster. daily limit is daily limit . learn how to spider rig you just might like it

What have you done for your Country? My grandfather fought in Korea and my uncles fought in VIETNAM. .. its PRIDE... how does it make u feel to talk to a ex U.S soldier like that? I think its not AMERICAN ... Well probably as much as you have!!!!!!! If 18 months as a crewchief doorgunner on a UH-1B helicopter in Viet Nam, is up to your definition of doing something for your country! Then maybe I can throw in, being eaten up with Agent Orange poisoning. So you might want to climb down off " Your High Horse".   Very cool picture...Thanks for your service. CW

What about that family of bank fishermen who have 8 or 12 rods out with corks. Are they real fishermen, who are spider rigging? Here is how you spider rig from the bank...

Amazing, just because you don't agree with someone, then they shouldn't be allowed to fish in a legal way? Seriously, get over yourself. I appreciate everyone's military service here (including the OP's) but I hardly see how it is relevant to spider rigging crappie though.

More Power to the spider riggers. I am a guide and its not feasible for me to spider rig. I love it though. those guys figured out a way to bamboozal those stubborn suspended crappie. As far as the fish population, and i am not a biologist, I think crappie are prolific enough reproducers to withstand some spider-rigging. If you wanted to control the harvest then close the season during the spawn. I'm not for doing that but it would be more effective than outlawing spider rigging. speaking of the spawn! Fish on waco should be in the shallows by this weekend, then yes another cold front. Better get you some this weekend. I still have a couple of spots open for this weekend if anyone would like to go catch some monsters. www.thecrappieking.com

Here is how you spider rig from the bank... hahahahhahahahahha...gaaa, choke, cough...hahaha...stop it...my sides are hurting....I am laughing so hard I'm crying!!! Now that picture is worth ten thousand words!!!!....  CCC please remember that spider rigging is just ONE of MANY techniques used to catch crappie, and it can be a very effective way to catch crappie on SOME lakes...However, a quite a number of lakes in Texas are not conducive to spider rigging for one reason or another...but I am guessing the lakes near you are regularly spider rigged, so rant on...now that you rant about it...maybe I need to grab a back seat with someone that spider rigs, so I can see the process unfold...then write a story about it...Heck if it is a better way to catch a limit, maybe I need to add it to my arsenal of tactics...
