Spent the weekend fishing with my Dad at Lake Caddo. Took a few good pictures and a bunch of bad ones. Here is a link to some of my favorites.

WARNING, some of the detail images are large(200k) not for the weak of connection.

Best viewed at 1024x768 or better

Hope yall enjoy.

Hendo, the first day was slooooow, but we found a small pattern and did well on Sunday. 10-14 Largemouth apeice, several nice sandies and I managed to land a pike also. The nice thing was they all averaged a nice 1.5 pound or better.

Scottp, Thanks! I really do recommend it. Get out there.

Caddo is the only natural lake in Texas...and it's like going back in time...Wow! Go there once and you'll always want to go back...

great pics, we spent a week there a few years ago, and ended up fishing mostly in bald cypress bayou. There are houses deep into it that looks like the peope haven't been out of them ever. Amazing place though. Caught some really big crappie, and lots of bass.

I've got to find some time to get out there and check that lake out. Incredible pictures.

You don't have to catch fish at Caddo to enjoy yourself. It's a laid back place in the fall and winter. You feel lost in time!

Bass_bustin_Texas, I grew up in Longview. We might know each other. Did you go to Longview High? If so what year did you graduate?

Beautiful pics!!!! I'm ashamed to say I grew up in Palestine, went to college at Stephen F. Austin, and have not fished Caddo even once...definitely my loss. That's the fishiest looking place I have ever seen (and I've fished the Sabine crossbow lakes in Louisianna ;-)

dont feel too bad. i grew up in tyler and lake palestine and this is my first time in a boat on that lake. now that i live in dallas i still say it was worth the 3 hour drive.

its odd. here in dallas its packed on the weekends at raybob or any lake for that matter. caddo was not even close, ramps and state park half empty. start of duck/deer season and the best cold snap this fall, i figured it would be packed. i guess the lighter population and the amount of lakes in east texas means more room for everyone.

What is Tea Room? Is that rental or is that someone's property? Looks like a cool place to stay!
