Just checked NOAA Weather for our area at 7:30 and they still said wind from south 5 to 10 for wed. morn.

If you didnot go then you missed the best day we have had in some time.Sunup till about 10:00 very little wind then about 7 to 10.
Had my limit and was gone by 10:30.

Some of the guys that live on the lake will have to help you out on that.I live in Athens and trailer my boat to the lake when I can keep it running, Its not very dependable!

Bernie, which ramp do you use. I would be coming up from Buffalo behind the Richland Chambers dam on 287. I guess I would take 309 to Kerens and then onto 31. I'm not familiar with any ramps on that side of the lake. Can you give me an idea how to get to a decent ramp on that end? Thanks

Suggest Caney Coves RV park in Caney City and either the public ramp on north end of Caney Creek bridge on Hwy 198 or the Log Cabin ramp.
