Me and lonestarblues went out to try and find a few blues. We got to the boat ramp at about 8:30, I imagine that will be the last time I am able to get the boat in until we get some rain. We then proceeded to throw the net for the next 2 and a half hours and finally managed about 15 2-4 shad and one bluegill. We went and anchored up on a shallow point in about 6' and managed 7 eater blues and 1 good Channel cat. All fish came off 1 spot. We loaded up the boat at 2 and headed to the house.

I had a great time. We can try and catch bait the day before. That will give us more fishing time.We can scout out a better boat ramp.Maybe Alvarado lake or Benbrook.Fish on!

Yeah I think catching bait before hand will be the best option. We need to find another lake benbrook, Whitney, or aquilla maybe.

Most North Texas lakes need water some boat ramps are better. I put us on the fish just needed more bait. Had a good time fishing. I would do it again if it went down like that. fish
