Quick question. Always been a Yamaha guy. Looking at a 90 hp merc opti max. What's the difference between the opti max and the pro xs? Thanks. Motor is a 2014.

Several differences. One important one is the pro xs has carbon fiber reeds, opti has metal reeds. If a reed fails, you want carbon fiber in your cylinder, NOT metal...
