I am pretty sure I blew a cylinder and need to get someone to confirm and get me a quote to fix it. I posted what happened in the motor section. Thanks

Skeeter_Man, I don't know where you are located but I'd take it to Rockwall Marine if that's feasible. Tommy Yetts and crew are some of the best in the industry. 972-771-4442.

Texas Outboards near Cedar Creek has great prices and a great reputation plus you get 3 years warranty as well. Since its a Yamaha its worth a call to Hydrotec as well as they rebuild them almost indestructible and increase performance by a lot. From what I know they have good pricing too.

Paul Essen at Texas Outboard Rebuilds did mine and it's been running like a top for over 2 years now.

All joking aside, I have never used them but was absolutely blown away by how nice they were when I was calling just to learn about what they did and the ballpark costs. They were very friendly and explained all they did in great detail and made sure all my questions were answered. i figure if they are that thorough on the phone I can only imagaine how they are in person. I know 3-4 guys that have used them and rave about them.
