Great pics! Hope the ankle heals soon Bud thanks sir , I must admit I tried a 1/32 oz jig with a slab bandit river cane in 1.25 a bit yesterday as well , the crappie seemed to have to fight off the bream on that small presentation though so that's what led to the larger 1/16 and longer tube bait ... I think we are doing some boating in the next few days or at least hope to... need a lil bit more time for the ankle to be 100%

Glad your foot did not slow you down much. Great job of catching when walking was so hard.

I can't use crutches or a walker due to my heart surgery, so am stuck in a wheelchair. I can only lift 8 lbs right now so I can't get the darn wheelchair into or out of the SUV so I'm stuck with my daughter driving when she has the time. But I'm hoping the doctor allows me to use crutches on the 16th when I see him again so I can drive again. It's ironic that my heart surgery has not bothered me that much but a stupid broken foot has grounded me, maybe for several months.

Ketchn: Tks for the ank pic; now I understand. Not open to the public - that's what I was hoping for! PM me with the rest of the story of call me better yet. I'm wanting to go tomorrow and catch some! I really like the last pic of the smallest black crappie I've ever seen! Did it by chance bite a 2-1/2" plastic, or was it a little one? I am having trouble down sizing!

It shore don't seem to matter either way,you been putting the KaBoom on em anyway! all the boats are in tip top shape sir .....as a matter of fact I am most likely on my way to go ketchn with sum tff folks in a few from a boat . the fish are quite cooperative from the bank right now so why drag the boat ? we have been ketchn more fish from docks and the bank since winter and see no need to complicate the ketchn of crappie and besides we all like to keep it interesting . its a bit boring to do the same ole thing for us or at least me anyway ....
