Some of you may know of one of our catfishing buddies, Mike Padgett. Mike is in a battle with cancer at only 44 years young. A few of his buddies are putting together a benefit tournament for him and we would like to ask for your support.
Where: Belton Lake
When: April 26
Entry: $100 per team. 2 people per team. %50 of entry pays out to 1st-3rd place. %50 goes to benifit Mike. $5 pots for big blue, big yellow, & big channel (optional). Winner take all in big fish pots.
What: Rod & Reel only. 10 fish stringer for total weight.
Registration will be Friday April 25 at the Moffat Community Center from 4:00 - 7:00 or the morning of the tournament from 5:00AM - 6:00AM.
Fishing Times are 6:00-3:00
Mike is a great fisherman who has helped a lot of people learn how to catch blues (myself included). Any help, proceeds, and prayers will be greatly appreciated. Lets help him out by getting together and showing some support for him.

great idea. Have not fished Belton and not sure the size of the fish but you might want to rethink the 10 fish stringer. THat is alot to keep alive. Usually it is 5 or if you want to make it 7 but if you get a few good size fish you will need alot of room for them. Like i said not sure if belton has big fish or not if not then the 10 will be fine.
The gene pool could use a little chlorine.
