Heard a lot of pro's last week talking about the spawn being over. I haven't seen any fish up shallow except gar. Been on Rayburn and the fishing acts like post spawn. Your thoughts?

No it's going, but I hink this next full moon will be the biggest wave. You should still find alot of pre-spawn fish for another week and a half. And really you will find fish still moving up all the way through April and into May. It's just gotten going in the last couple weeks. Plenty of good fishing to go!
It may be the part of the lake your fishing. It probably is about over for the upper end of some of the big lakes.

Fished all weekend on Eagle Mountain Caught 18 fish and never seen a rubbed tail, and never seen a fish on a bed. I am not a super experienced bass fisherman but do fairly well and have not seen any signs of heavy spawning action. The highest water temp I seen on Eagle Mountain last sunday on the south end was 57.5 degrees. From what I have learned this is just the beginning of the spawn. One fish was what seemed to be a 4lb female and did not look like she was even close to spawning.

Rayburn spawn has already had 2 major waves. Probably will be one more big wave and that's about it. They are speaking the truth, it's about done. More post spawners than pre or spawn fish

From the reports that I'm seeing, and from what I've seen myself, each lake is different. Some are wrapping up while other are just starting. Even the ponds in my local area just started to spawn last week. Since the weather has been so bonkers, it's hard to say unless you visit every single lake.

Depends on the lake. I can tell you my local lakes are still pre spawn and barley getting Into spawn. This last cold snap pushed a a lot of fish back.
