For some reason, those fish are kinda creepy looking to me. Looked like fun though.
like the man says...if you're swimming in the ocean and get bitten by a shark, its not a shark attack. You're in THEIR neighborhood. If you're at home in your shower, turn around and a shark is in there with you...THAT'S a shark attack

I was serious when I said this is being added to my Kayak bucket list! I might try to make the trip sometime this summer. It will be difficult in the summer. The reason we went last weekend was because they're spawning. Your odds of getting into a school are much better when they're concentrated in the rivers, particularly if you know the kind of spots to look for (I'll go over that in the video). When you're snagging on the main lakes the rest of the year, your odds decrease dramatically.

Very cool!!!! Now can you please hurry with the Devils video. The anticipation is killing me! Haha I'm working on it brotha. Should be Monday. I've spent every minute of my free time on it besides this little break to go catch some dinosaurs.

That is a killer accomplishment! WTG! Was this in OK? Yeah, on the Arkansas River. They're illegal to target here in Texas. The Arkansas River is a good place for size but there are better places for numbers (if you just want good odds of snagging one). But we found both this trip.

WTG, Brent & Bobby! I can't help but think of Bill Engvall when I see the look on those spoonbills. "What's a corndog doing under the ocean?"

Nice fish and very cool photos, but shouldn't it be titled Paddlefish, meet Pedal craft?

Nice fish and very cool photos, but shouldn't it be titled Paddlefish, meet Pedal craft? Haha valid point, but it was shallow where we were. I paddled more than pedaled this trip. The pedals came in handy for dodging boulders while these fish tried to drag you into them over and over again.

Can those be caught on artificial or live baits?
