I'm posting this in the bass section because I'm sure some of you don't really browse the other forums. I have a 2012 hpdi 150 that wont spit water when its running. I put the engine in a 55 gallon drum of water and it gave me the high temp alarm. I hooked a water hose to the flush line, and it runs out of the pee hole. Does this sound like a water pump problem to yall? Or does it sound like a clogged line problem?

Sounds like you are due for a new impeller. If it was clogged, it wouldn't come out the pee hole. Also the pressure from the hose with push water through the system even if the impeller is bad or weak.

Impeller. Check the discharge tube as well. Wasps love to build nests in there.
