Thinking about taking the wife crappie fishing on Caddo (she likes Big Pine Lodge). Anybody have a fishing report?

I think I would be fishing near stumps with a cork and bobber. Minnows or jigs.....

I am going Monday morning to stay through Thursday. I see on the weather report that there are flash flood watches today thru tonight with 5 plus inches of rain in some areas around Caddo, I wonder what all that water is going to do to the fishing.

I'm not much help. Did not catch one single crappie and caught only 4 bass with jigs around the trees.

I took the wife to Lake Murvaul instead and had about the same luck as you did. One crappie, one catfish and one bass. But, bless her heart she stayed out there all afternoon with me and never complained.
