last weekend Bell bass club winning weight was 18+ on 5 fish, next 3 teams had 5 fish each with all being 15+.
There were some good fish caught.

Just don't come home from the lake with any stripper glitter on ya. That's a death sentence. About 20 years ago there was a strip club just outside of Lewisville. I used to see trucks with bass boats parked there every weekend. LOL! I guess some of the locals weren't too fond of having a strip bar there, although it was just outside the city limits. One day it just burned to the ground. Wonder how many wives had a hand in that.

Ban d you are so wrong, do you fish Whitney? There is NO ALGAE ! And I have the pics for the last months to prove the fish as far as crappie and bass are being caught.

Results of the Golden Algae 3 weeks ago in our boat slip @ Juniper Cove. went back that same afternoon around 4:00 and caught 15 more just like them. Damn Golden Algae !

I think there's people on here that throw the Golden algae card down, just like the hunters around the lake saying there's no deer around they all starved to death during the drought don't want other people around it.

You may be right Bow, you should have seen the big bass that were taken out of Juniper Cove last weekend when we fished the team tournament.The last time I have seen it this good,is a couple of years ago when it went down 16ft.All I no is it is as good right now than it has been in a long time.

There still a lot of guides, out there making money right now on that lake, last time I checked you could not get a booking during the weekends

Damn Golden Algae ! these little bass were from the last Three weeks too..   Last three trips our smallest 5 fish bag was 15lbs. Also on day we showed up around 9am and left before 3pm and tournaments were going on. We culled an entire limit two weeks ago. My buddy had 15lbs alone last Sunday. I was just kidding geeze.

Been at whitney all weekend. Alot of people been pulling slabs in. Juniper cove is where its at.
There is a fine line between fishing and standing on the shore looking like a idiot.
