I am guessing that all of us who hunt and fish in this great state and are members of this forum obey the laws of the land and water when we hunt or fish. The TPWD allows individual to hunt and trap fur bearing animals. IBFishing has not violated any laws based on what I can see. You may not like the method, however it is an effective and approved method that we as hunters may use.

IBfishing, Great looking cat and I'll bet it will make a nice looking mount or rug!
Alligator, Snakeyes and anyone else that takes exception to this picture. Don't look at it if it bothers you, but above all if you have something derogatory to say about it either send an email to the topic originator and hold your thoughts (don't get on this forum and start causing a bunch of negativity and grief, we don't want it). If you think this picture was malicious and distasteful, click the whistle and send a message to the moderators and we will discuss it. Personally, I feel that the picture was well done, and did not present any blood and gore, he didn't even show a picture of the trap. My advice is to back up and take a deep breath and cease the posting of anymore negative replies frown .

Well if trapping and shooting them afterward is cool, why not come to Houston and do the same to the following, my neighbors barking dog, any and all pigeons, stray cats, and the homeless crowding the streets downtown who_knows

Nice kitty, how much did it weigh?

I can't believe all the neighsayers around here, just because it's a bobcat. I don't see yall whining about dead hogs or tarpon that end up getting eaten by sharks when people are catching them just for sport.

great cat, while i personally have nothing against taking any animal in a legal manner, i respect all of your opinions whether you approve of it or not. it's just that you guys who are expressing negative feedback are so dang derogatory and snooty sounding when you do it it is offensive.

Figure it out yourself...because there's no TP&W rules and regs governing those species.
