Went out today a lassoed me a few crappie! Caught this one with my loop knot! Had a good day. Got to the lake around 5 and had a limit by about 7. I stayed for another hour or so, and culled 10-15 more. Also had probably 10-15 throwbacks. Still catching them deeper, about 12' down. All on jigs. Water temp in mid 60's. Also had the pleasure of meeting a couple good guys off the forum.

Nice to meet ya Jeff , you must have had some good mojo with ya cause about 30 min to hr after you left they turned off... Me and my partner ended up stayin til midnight, sinking a light and playin around with minnows and glow plastics, couldn't get em fired back up, no complaints though.. We ended up splitting a limit... Good luck in the morning

Did I mention that I have been using Thump Buddies and hand ties. About 2/3 of my 2 limits (and probably 40 throwbacks and culls) have come on TB. So far, after 2 limits, I am still using the first bodies I started with. They are a little tore up, but still catching fish. I am sure CA Slab Bandits would catch them just as good. No reason to buy a plastic at a store. Too many better bait makers on the Forum.
