Fished Fayette on Monday from 7 til about 1:30. 7-9am the jig bite was ON, then the sun came out and they wanted a 7.5 inch plum curly tail. Early fish in the clouds were in 9-12 fow, and after the sun came out they came up a bit shallower, 3-6 or there abouts probably caught on or two deeper and one or two shallower. I caught 10 jig fish that were all over 3 lbs. Best five were probably around 20lbs. I lost count at one point, but saying between 20 and 25 fish for the day is very safe.

Great report and nice pics. Were they on the bottom at those depths or suspended? Thanks.

I saw suspended fish on my graph, but only a few of my bites came on the fall. They may have followed it down. That early spot there were a lot of suspended fish halfway down in 10 fow. Threw squarebills at em, but they wanted a jig.

Fished Thursday with similar results. Most fish were caught in an area smaller than a football field. Tried other areas of the lake but could not duplicate the pattern. All fish came on Senko fished slow. At around 5:00 they pretty much turned off completely- prior to that it was pretty steady. Got there at around noon.

I fished Tuesday out there and boated 80+ fish. The shad were pushed up shallow from the south winds and the fish were just tearing them up for like 2hrs. All fish were caught on t-rigged GB Rattlesnakes. You had to fish into the wind and drag it to their face to get bit. The fish were stacked in the trees and when you found 1.....there were always more. All fish were 3-5lbs and biggest went 6-8.
