Every year me and about 4 other buddies take a trip to a lake for the "classic". We have been wavering back and forth for a while now, so in your opinion, which one would be the best choice between the following?

- Choke Canyon
- Amistad
- Fork
- Ray Rob

We have all fished Fork before, with no such luck, so between that and the MONSTER tourneys this month, we are thinking of steering clear of fork.. Thanks for the input guys.

If you decide on Lake Amistad shoot me a PM. I book River St. Lodge and will see that you guys are taken care of. I can also help you with a guide if that is something the group would like for a day. I have customers down there on a weekly basis and can advise you on the best areas to try and hopefully put you on fish.

All those lakes are fishing tough with tournaments. A lot will change on the lakes that are not producing good fish right now, by the end of April. Ray Roberts is hurting for good places to stay unless something new has opened. I-35 motels is about it, which makes for a little drive each morning.

If you have a full week from say Sat. to the following Sunday week. I can offer my Mexico drive in trip to Lake Oviachic. It doesn't get any better than that with numbers and big bass. The expense is the same as going to any other lake for a week.

Each person you work with holds some promise to your future success.

If you don't want Fork. Ray Roberts would be #2 on that list by far.

I know these two lake are not on your list:

Toledo Bend it has plenty of places to stay and full of fish!

Texoma will be fishing great that time of year! Should be fish on beds all over the lake and decent striper action to boot!

Maybe you should go South of the border. If not, I would try Sam Rayburn, Falcon, or Toledo Bend.
