Yes, that's about how it looks around Lake Sam Rayburn and Toledo Bend also. I hope this recent rain helps and we get some more. Good picture.

nah - my folks are moving into a neighborhood right around the corner later this month.
part of their neighborhood has .. er, HAD water access by way of a canal type arrangement that ran though their backyard. Most of it was dried up as well.
you texans keep telling me this is normal but DANG!!!
