Nice catch Joe. That green fin grinnel is something else. I've never seen one like it either. Are you gonna have it mounted?

Those bowfins are very pretty this time of year! They have the green fins here on Cypress and on Sandlin also. Good job, nice mess of fish

Good job, nice mess of fish i want a green finned one with a red fish eye spot on the tail man that is tooo kewl would that be a great mouth wide open mount in those colors wonder if mister Belton Banger ever did one of them ? i bet he could reproduce that coloration very nice

Nice box of fish.  Those bowfin are also some pretty good fighters.

Awesome job, Hickory Nut. I've been whacking some 2+ males the past 3 weeks at Fork as well. Got to be some 3 pound females ready to move in, but these darn frontal systems keep delaying things. Bass are occasionally ripping us too, but haven't caught one of those Martian grinnel yet, that is wicked! Still catching 10-1 ratio of male to female, so best is yet to come.
