I bought a spinnerbait I was really excited to use, while idling out of the no wake zone I tied it on, clipped the wrong line and threw a brand new bait over the edge. What are some of your stories?

And I'm know thats not the dumbest just what I can recall right now!

Second day of a big bass tournament I catch a fish I'm thinking about going to weigh in.
Started going through my mind what all I had to when I get there and bam! Realized I had never renewed my fishing license since I hadn't been fishing in a long time:(
I stopped fishing and felt like a complete idiot to my partner.
Glad I didn't catch a BIG fish!!

Forgot to fill up the boat once. . .and had to cover a few miles with the trolling motor. That one really sucked.

Felt dumb when I was culling fish and left the livewell lids open... a 4 pounder jumped out into the lake, bye bye.

Yup that's mine... Thought I had enough gas and run up the river! Man that was a long troll back! Finally ran into a pontoon after about an hr and half on the trolling motor! I ALWAYS check the tank now!

My BIL forgot to take off the plastic hook tube protector on a buzz bait and lost two good fish before he checked it during a tourney! All we could do was laugh about it.

Launched my boat in Chaney at Fork and decided I was just going to drop the trolling motor and start fishing from there. Got all the way to Taylor branch and decided to start the big motor to go somewhere else... Dang! the keys were still in my truck. That was a long way back trolling.

Used to "pop" the hook out of a fish's mouth until this happened one day on Rayburn ...

Dumped my fish at the ramp and skipped weigh in only to find out we had the biggest sack of the day and would of pulled us up from 30ish to a top 5

Not fishing...but getting ready for a tournament the evening prior I finger cuffed myself with a crankbait. Hooks in fingers on both hands. Somehow I was able to call my partner to come get me lose.

Sunk a truck @ a boat ramp (parking gear broke)
Ran out of gas (non functioning gas guage)
Forgot my rigged rods in my truck during an Flw tourney (remembered just in time before take off)
Lost a net running wide open, lost my final two keepers bc of no net, cost me 5K
Hit a stump I have seen 1000 times bc the coots where scattering

Should I continue

I was fishing the local river and had the trolling motor down going from tree to tree and the big motor hit a tree and came to a dead stop and i went flying about 10 feet in front of the boat...

put the boat on the trailer and quit!lol

All it takes is once and you'll NEVER do it again, lol.
