Anyone seen this on their birds? 2D, SI, and Charts work perfectly… but DI looks like this. I changed the color palette for DI and it stopped for about 20 minutes, but then came back. I had gone fishing 2 days prior with no issues. Loaded the boat like normal, skipped a day due to high winds, then went back out and found the issue. I noticed that when I scrolled through my viewing options, DI was clear until I left it on my screen. That's why it's clear on the left portion of the DI side. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Got a buddy that just installed a 798. He said the transducer is causing a horrible rooster tail. The top of the transducer is directly level with the bottom of the boat and there are no ribs or anything under the boat directly in front of it to cause turbulence. Any idea what went wrong and causing it to rooster tail like it is? It came with a rooster-tail plug for the mount--use it.

Anyone know where one can be purchased? He bought a used unit and it did not come with the plug.

Has anyone used the link feature of the I-Pilot with a Humminbird?
I am particularly interested in the follow the contour feature.
Curious how well it works.
Thanks!

One more question.... I want to network an iPilot trolling motor, 1199 (console), 899 (bow), and 200 HP (2007) Yamaha together using a 5 port switch AS-ETH-5PXG.
Planning to use the US2 from the iPilot as the sonar for the 899. Will network the SI puck from the 1199 up to the 899.
Need to hook up the 2007 Yamaha so I can see the engine vitals through the 1199. There is a port capped off on the Yamaha. I think that we need a connection between the Yamaha and the 5 port switch, but there seems to be some confusion (maybe mine) about the connection hardwire required.
I called Humminbird customer service and they sent me a technical email trying to explain - still not clear what I need. Has anyone done something similar that can shed some light on this?
Thanks

If your motor has the NMEA harness, you need the Humminbird NMEA connection and an Ethernet cable. The NMEA connection is the AS ETH NMEA2K

Thanks! It works great, except it may be too prescise,it follows EVERY LITTLE CONTOUR CHANGE, foot by foot, it almost threw me out of the boat. I prefer either making my own course, it will save 6 separate courses up to 2 miles each or just simply using the autopilot. Straight line, regardless of wind or current, and adjusting only as needed.
