You should try the CJ's Wild Hopper. It's one of the new ones they're making.

If you use treble hooks, you might want to try using a long shanked common screwdriver with a slight notch filed in the center of the blade. Hook the notch on one of the bends of the hook and its easy to shove the hook down into the bait. You can spin the screwdriver while holding back pressure on the leader to help load up the hook. Then just pull the screwdriver out and then the hook. Just my

Here recently I purchased cj's, secret 7 and sudden impact and yet to get a bite on any of them. I mean not a nibble. I'll have 4-5 rods out with cut bait and 2 out with some form of dip bait and have yet to get anything on it.

There is a good article on fishing punch bait in this month's issue of In Fisherman. Has a lot of good info on how to fish punch bait, tips from the makers.

I've had real good luck with CJ's punch bait at our local pond. Crawfish has been the best but the fish like different "flavors" other days. Shad, monster and minnow have all produced for me. Great punch bait. Get's soupy with hot 100 degree weather I just keep it in a small cooler and its good to go.
I may not always be right but I'm never wrong.

Ive watched the forum for a long time. There is always someone saying how good the prepared baits are. I have tried every bait Ive seen on here for the past two years. Not one single fish. Not one.I finally threw seven jars away, of different brands and decided they are for catching fisherman, not fish.I know this will ruffle feathers on here, but if I could catch fish with them, it would be great. I wouldn't have to chase bait for hours sometimes. The baits would be an easy way to catch fish, I hear Im fishing in wrong place, Im in the same place I catch fish on other baits. Its just my opinion, and that's worth nuttin to anyone but me. But Im the one payin for it....so No more for me.

I gotta ask,if you take the "stinking type bait" and throw it in the lake bottom muck,is it the baits fault it wont catch a fish's interest? Dont ever catch much of anything type a fisher-person? why you hide your bait in the bottom muck "expecting" a fish to find it? If the baits hadnt been at retail level as long as the majority have I would tend to agree with their uselessness. CJ's and Danny Kings do catch fish if they are "fished"<~hint)
Either are my go to baits when taking kids out on the boat They dont have the patience to wait out the big bait bite on the long poles

"You always Get,what you always get When you always do,what you always do" Well Said-- There were two reasons that it did not work for me-- I was in the wrong place and I had used a treble hook with sponge, which is not all too bad but it covered the treble and could not get the dough to stick for dear life. Will use it until it's gone and then give my review, but only when I know where to locate cats as I am a newbie In any case, good luck in whatever bait ya use!

C'mon if you show up at home and don't smell like soured grain cut shad or dough bait..........Momma's gonna be askin questions.
You might as well dive right in with your fingernails and don't forget to put a little behind your ears.
Yes ....my Grandpaw stank.....but you should have seen the fish he caught.
