I tried this CJ's punch bait out and that stuff wouldnt stick to the trble/sponge when going for channels-- Supposed to add water or anything? Any recommendations or maybe a diff punch to use?

Just got couple of buckets from Mr. Jones, getting ready for them channel cats at Falcon Lake

Glad to hear it's good stuff-- I bet the sponge was messing it up mostly.. noo room to stick on the hook, or the treble was just too small. (these were prepared sponge trebles for academy, hah.)

get you some #4 or #2 treble hooks. I buy the VMC's trebles from Academy.

CJ is great, but if too dry it will not stick very well when you punch the hook down into it. Add a little vegetable oil to get the right consistency.

I saw that he said to add oil (his own of course) to add consistancy when dry in the video posted, will try that out, thans donothin!

Try CJ's MONSTER* on spring loaded trebles
FWIW,Pinch down the hook barbs on those trebles and the fish are easier to unhook
