Dose anybody know why the boat ramp is closed? I walked down the ramp and it is still accessible

Sometimes the Gubment tries to protect us too much. Sorry Bruddah I'm gonna be on Amistad
so got the Feds and State to deal with. It fluctuates 30'-60' at times.
Family's has been down there since the 1950's before LBJ. Last year when they
"shut down the Fed Gubment" and closed all ramps............still launched a boat
"sometimes there just ain't enough rocks"

Dose anybody know why the boat ramp is closed? I walked down the ramp and it is still accessible I saw you drive by with your boat. The city shut down the boat ramp last year. Larger boats (such as mine) were getting stuck in the mud at the end of the boat ramp. Until the LE boat ramp re-opens, it is closer for me to go to Ray Roberts.
