Me and Mr. OkieBob had made plans, I called him up Sunday and he still wanted to go! we stop for coffee and a light breakfast. I tell him that it will be a good trip. I did not KNOW that he had never been in a small boat before! As we are heading up the creek I told him that I had to retire the jig I was using, the head was loose and the ol' High Noon was beat! I tied on a new head and he said here try this! As reluctant I as was I put it on! It was GDaddy or something! I guess he figured with out a High Noon that I wouldn't catch! Well I dropped that little dude down and bang fish on! Well it held up pretty good! We ended the day with 16 keeper's out maybey 50 to 60 fish! pictures to come later!

All fish were caught in 0 to 6 feet of water just of the bottom. He was using a halo magic and one other color under a float, and i was tight lining using the jig he gave me..

Yep, I had never been in a two man bass buggy before but, I hope to again someday soon! What a blast and the fishing was great.
Now I do have to be honest here, right? Well, ole Leyman knows his stuff when it comes to creek fishin, yep for sure. He would point that little boat right a a laydown or honey hole and me, sittin in the back, couldn't even see the dang thing!!! What's up with that? I'd heard about (actually Jigum taught me)
'back seatin' before but, I didn't think it could be done in a little two man. I can now testify that it can!
I don't know how many fish we kept, but, if Leyman cleaned 13 that I know we had at least 20 because everytime he'd reach for the striner to add another fish, two or three would get off the stringer safely back into the water!!!! I kid you not~he put more fish back in the water than I could catch...from my back seat~!
heheheheeh...what a great day. Thanks Leyman, I'm anxious to take you out in my Lund again....think I can refine the art of 'back seatin'~

Sounds like a good day on the creek! I haven't got to go yet as my creek buddy, Winnie Meat, has been working 2 jobs and lately been under the weather. Talked to him yesterday and he said that he's been getting up and around, so a trip might be coming  Congrats guys!!!!!
