That fish went 16 1/4 inches Champion. I'm just glad I'm fortunate enough to be able to fish this spot. Hope I didn't upset anyone by taking more than 25. If it makes it any better all fish were filleted and given to neighbors. All fish were caught on crappie thunder(white and black tuxedo). My bubbly went out yesterday and caught about 20 on white 1/8 oz rooster tail slow rolled.

Well definitely I will pay more attention to my numbers of fish fines are not worth it. Hope I didn't upset anyone by taking more than my limit. If it makes it any better all fish were filleted and given to neighbors, the fish on the right went 16 1/4 inches there's bigger one in there I just never have weighed or measured any until now. All fish were caught on 1/16 road runners with a white and a black tuxedo crappie thunder. My buddy went out yesterday and caught about 20 on white rooster tails.

So how did 23 from your other post (quoted above) turn out to be 27 crappie and two bass? Something is starting to smell fishy.

If it isn't illegal because it is a private pond or if you just made a honest mistake, than I am cool with it. If not, than I expect fellow fishermen to follow the same rules I do.

Not trying to attack anyone or be a trouble maker. Just hope he learns something and follows the rules like everyone else is expected to.

Private lakes are different than public waters in the eyes of the law...if you have any doubts, contact your local GW...you can even tell him where you intend to fish private water and "Make Sure" in advance, if you so desire...I am not sure how a Municipal Golf course lake would work out...probably be considered public water.

Catch and release is just a first step to NO FISHING ALLOWED.

They will fry up quite nicely.

if you get any hate PM's, just know many of us have gotten them before.

John 21:3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee.

There is a tremendous difference between "catch and release" and obeying the laws that protect the resources so all of us can enjoy them.

In this instance, he has stated he made a mistake, he has apologized, so that should be the end of this part of the thread. And if he received any from forum members, then he has MY apology, as we should never send "hate" PM's for any reason.

I have not seen anything hateful here in this thread. I have seen posts that pointed out his error but I don't believe any of them expressed hate to date.

I will not eat fish caught on golf course. They use lots chemicals and pesticides to maintain the golf course, the grass and the lawns. The fishes in golf course ponds are highly toxic.

Definetly do not eat those. Bad stuff in those pods from the bajillion chemicles they use on the grass there. Bad bad. Especially feeding golf course fish to a kid. Bad bad bad stuff now these days. Again, throw what u have away. And dont eat them.
