 Lake Lewsville Report 4-1-14 in the Marina

Hit my usual Marina (LL) yesterday and finally caught a few fish. I've been going the past 2 weeks and havent even got a bite until yesterday. Only caught 4 crappie (all were 10-12 inches and all male), but its a step in the right direction. They were all caught on white and chart jig in 3-6 FOW.
Looks like they are finally moving in or they are finally starting to bite. Either way, im fine with it.
You cant teach greatness.

Which marina? I was at the lewisville marina yesterday evening and caught one dink. Did you catch them in the early morning hours or afternoon hours.

That's good to hear. Maybe LL is finally catching up to the other lakes.

Not wishing anybody bad luck but I'm hoping they hold off until after 4/16, at least on Joe Pool. That is when I expect to be allowed to fish again. Of course it is going to look funny, me with my blue cast and broken left foot, but I use my right foot for the trolling motor on the pontoon. And I can use my wheelchair to get me from the car to the boat slip.  So once my heart doctor releases me to drive again I'm heading for the slip. And no, I don't need my left foot to drive.
