The run on the San Gabriel above lake Granger is still going on. On Tuesday around 5 pm I was doing well in the deep holes around hwy 95 bridge. Lot of dinks, but still fun. They were finicky about lure. 1/16 oz black and green tube jig - nothing. White 1/8 oz roadrunner curly tail - nothing. 1/16 oz white hair jig - game on!

Fish were deep, and concentrated. Once you found the spot in the pool where they were, it was a fish every third cast. The rest of the pool was vacant of fish.

I caught 20 in an hour, but only 3 keepers.

I was there today too but close to the steps, I think its called the wild. Was there for 3 hours and fishing with river minnows, theres shad there too. They hit that like crazy. I was able to catch 11 keepers, mostly 10 inchers. Lots of small fishes.. LOTS..

Still running today. Heck, today I could actually SEE the fish moving between pools in the rifffels. White 1/16 oz roadrunner was the ticket today. Dink to keeper ratio was about 7 to 1. Only had an hour after work.

Slowing way down today. Caught just 6 dinks in an hour and a half by the hwy 95 bridge. chart 1/16 oz hair jig.
