Hello TFF members,
I am again recruiting Judges for the Toyota Texas Bass Classic to be held May 9th thru the 11th at Lake Fork with mandatory judge training from 9:00am to 3:00 pm Thursday May 8th. Most of my spots are filled, but I may have a few openings available. I also need local anglers who could be available at the last minute as I always have some folks drop out. You must attend the training and be available to judge on Friday the 9th and Saturday the 10th. Please read the following information carefully.

The TTBC Judge plays an extremely important role to the success of our event. You will not be a marshal, but rather an actual tournament official. Your job will be to measure, weigh, record, and report the anglers catch in the boat. Accuracy and attention to detail are critical. You are also the eyes and ears of the tournament director and may be asked to give impartial testimony to the tournament director should there be a protest or rule infraction. You will be trained on the official methods utilizing a measuring board, Boga Grip scale, two way radio, and the official scorecard.

Please be aware that this tournament will be held rain or shine and regardless of windy conditions. You should be familiar with tournament conditions and be prepared. Also be aware that our anglers have a reputation for running full speed at all times, so 70 miles an hour in 3 footers would not be unusual. Also be aware that the angler will not return to the dock unless there is an emergency, so there are no bathroom breaks. You will need to manage your food and water intake accordingly.

If you are still interested in being a judge for this event after reading this, please send me email to Tim@cookssharpening.com. DO NOT SEND ME A TFF PRIVATE MESSAGE AS I ONLY COMMUNICATE BY EMAIL! For my convenience, please include your complete contact info in this format. (a little test) lol

Name
Address
Cell Phone Number
Shirt size
Hoodie/jacket size.

Once I receive your email, I will make my selections and contact you promptly. Keep in mind that there are only about 5-10 judge spots open at this time. Positions will be filled in the order I receive the responses. If you are not initially selected, I will have you on a waiting list. I always have judges drop out at the last minute and if you are available at a moments notice, it increases your chances.

The judges will receive free admission to the event for all 3 days which gives you access to the outdoor show, and concerts. In addition, you will have premium parking and the judges uniform which consists of a hat, shirt, and jacket which you will be required to wear while on the boat. Finally, you will have a front row seat to some of the most exciting fishing anywhere in the country. The list of anglers is the best of the best in professional fishing. Anglers qualify by placing in the top 15 in the B.A.S.S. Elite Series, FLW Tour, and PAA Series, plus a few sponsor exemptions. It is going to be a great event.
Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to hearing from you.

Wish I was going to be in town. This would be an awesome opportunity to learn from the best.
