Theres an osprey living by my parents farm pond. I see him take fish every so often- It literally sounds like a pelican smashing into the water. Sometimes he gets a foot long bass, sometimes a perch he's holding with just one talon.

I saw one carrying a white bass the other day on Fork that was so big the osprey could barely fly.
