Anybody having any luck fishing for sandies there? Fished there yesterday - walked south of 380 towards lake Lewisville. Walked about a .75 - 1 mile throwing crappie jigs, roosters, and road runners but not even a bite. I saw lots of people fishing and just about everyone else was getting skunked too. I did see alot of gar, and a dead raccoon.

Is it slow because of a lack of water?

Thanks I may try that. If I have time I'm going to try Hickory Creek today.

I've tried it three or four times went north and south of 380. Nothing but exercise for me. I heard comments that there's not enough water at the mouth for them to come up. Hope for rain thumb
