I'm looking to upgrade my Bow fish finder ; Either Academy Elite 4x DSI @149.99 or Elite 4x HDI for 169.00 @ cabala's hmmmmmmmmmm  INPUT ?

I think they only sell hdi. It has sonar and dsi where the dsi does not have sonar.

Opting for the GPS may save your lower unit as you can run trails and see creek channels in the shallows. I myself don't care if the depth or temp work as long as I can see maps, waypoints and trails.
Agree the HDI is the better buy. The dsi and 2d compliment one another.
