Worst show ever. It is so sad to see it downgraded like this. What happened to the awesome show it used to be?

I have to agree about the way the show started, kind of dissapointed....but, I fished with Brett on an FLW tournament, and I enjoyed the one on one conversation with him. He's a really nice guy and I was excited for him and his second big win this year....

Personally, I like to see the guys catching or missing fish, you know, real world stuff.

ESPN totally screwed BASS up so they are going to do the same with the tv show.

I don't mind a wrap up show where you talk to the winners and hear about strategies, big decisions, and the one that got away...........but NOT until after we all watch the friggin competition from start to finish. That show is called "winning ways" and they do an ok job at that. But, to START the tournament coverage with "winning ways" type coverage.........remote throw to tv!!!

Lost all interest in BASS 15 years ago. No regrets.

IMHO, the only thing they are good for is rasing the price on boats and tackle.

[quote=Randy Harrell]I was kind of dissapointed in the show this morning. They started they show off by showing the winner. I liked the older format of breaking down each day and showing more time on the water. /quote]

Same here i was shocked..... realmad

What time was it on? I'd like to set it to record going forward.

I was shocked as well to start the show off showing the end result. Made no sense. The show is much better showcasing the event in order, showing the top contenders battling on the last day. I guess this one was such a blowout wouldnt have been interesting or something. It does seem like most of footage was GoPro which sucks. Hopefully they'll correct for next show. I did enjoy the detailed breakdown of how Brett fishes the chatterbait but they could have waited for the last 5 minutes of the show.

You know what else really bothered me was the way Bernie Shultz practically was twisting the jaw off that 10 lber. That is not how you handle any bass much less one that big. Did anyone else notice??

I bet the next show is more of the same thing because they already said who was going to win the next tournament at the end of the show.

Did anyone honestly expect to be surprised by the winner when its been on every major fishing site for a week? Sounds like some are tuning in expecting some groundbreaking show or something. Only so many ways to jazz up fishing. Its not the best watch on TV no matter how its presented. Its a much better spectator sport.

He was holding the fish completely horizontal! If this is the way the rest of the shows go this year, I wont be watching.
